My first real experience with Geophysiology was through the PBS program *NOVA*. I happened to be watching it when they aired James Lovelock's 'The Gaia Hypothesis' in the mid 1980s. This program was absolutely fascinating. The Gaia Hypothesis sparked my imagination to understand more about the interlocking relationships of our planet. Thanks to the internet, my journey of learning is possible from wherever I can get online. My fascination continues unabated and the journey has opened vistas I never imagined. One could; and many do, spend a lifetime decoding the complexity of our biosphere. When the human element is added to Lovelock's Gaia Hypothesis/Theory, it becomes essential for humanity to better understand our relationship with this planet called 'Earth'.
It's a simple matter to have a meaningless relationship and quite
another to have a meaningful relationship. Which we choose depends
on how informed we are as to the effects of our relationships. While
the bickering continues nonstop between opposing views as to the
effects of our choices, no meaningful relationship with our planet
will occur; one way or another for the benefit of all.
The Links provided below are my efforts at helping inform people of
what is known as Geophysiology and *The Human-Nature-Relationship*.
This information comes from diverse areas of inquiry. The
information below may be easy/not so easy to understand. Some of it
may Incite/Inspire. Either way I hope the Links are informative and
those viewing the information will come away with something
beneficial for the HNR.
With that in mind, I would suggest starting your exploration at The
Gaia Society...
